My current obsession is a series of books by Angie Sage.

It is called the Septimus Heap series.
I really like it because its magical and very well written.
Angie Sage was born in Somerset, England and has written 6 Septimus Heap books.
I think that anyone who liked the Harry Potter books will enjoy these :)
